Zara June Williams is a Gadigal/Sydney-based artist working across collage and painting. Drawing from a personal archive of found and made materials, her practice explores memory, time, and the cyclical nature of matter through processes of layering, erasure, and the repurposing of accumulated fragments.

Williams completed a Master of Fine Arts at the National Art School in 2018. Awarded the Lift Off Award upon graduation, she relocated to Germany, where she lived until 2021. She was an artist-in-residence at Pilotenkueche in Leipzig in 2019 and at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, in 2022. Her work has been exhibited in Sydney and internationally.
